Hey, I'm Tiago

I'm a software developer who got into IT through curiosity and by taking PCs apart, not always managing to put them back together afterward.

In 2005, I started experimenting with programming using Action Script from the now long-gone Micromedia Flash. After building some websites and taking accredited courses, I had my first professional experience in 2009, building systems for large companies with .Net Web Forms while I was still studying for my Systems Analysis degree.

Time flies. After two decades in this industry, I started this blog to write about real-world experiences and share more widely the ideas and lessons from day-to-day work that I believe are valuable and worth sharing.
